This is a test of the new app on my phone connecting with the Workamping blog!

Author: workampingambassador151

I have worked as a Workamper since 2013, my wife Sandy joined me in 2015 along with our cat Tiki. We love workamping and get asked the same question over and over again; "how can I do it too?". The Lifestyle Workamping Ambassador seemed like the perfect fit for me; if you love what you are doing, do it to the best of your ability. As a Workamping Ambassador for Workamping.com I can share their materials with others and help them experience the wonderful and exciting field of "Workamping" which is defined as: "Working and living in a recreational vehicle as you travel across the USA."

    1. Oops, didn’t mean to hit post comment just then! Nor did I mean to like my own comment. My tablet is very touchy right now!
Anyway, that dream died a painful divorce death…or so I thought for a long time. Now it’s just my dream, not so much owing and running a campground but Workamping after I retire.
I had never heard the term Workamping until I read your comment on Streaming Through America’s Thank You For Not Smoking blog post.
Good luck on the construction of you blog site! Mine is still a work in progress.

  1. Your post to my blog: “Anyway, that dream died a painful divorce death…or so I thought for a long time. Now it’s just my dream, not so much owing and running a campground but Workamping after I retire.” Don’t wait until you retire! Start when you are ready! I started out of desperation since I lost my job due to health reasons. We were going to be basically “homeless”. I started researching the idea of living fulltime in a motorhome and working while traveling. I tried it while the wife was still working for a summer season and LOVED it. Now we do it fulltime together.

You don’t want to make a hasty decision, but don’t let your “dream” die! There is nothing like it on a limited income and wide open horizons!

Keep in touch and follow us if you like.
